You are correct - these boxes do come at a slight premium when compared to purchasing an alternative, like stock boxes and bubble wrap. However, we have found that this differential is often times made up for when factoring reductions in product breakage, assembly time, and sometimes even direct shipping costs to your customer. Coupled with the improvement in unboxing aesthetics when compared to a bubble-wrapped product, these differences have helped our customers grow and scale their businesses by increasing the likelihood of their customers returning to purchase from them again. I would also recommend checking out our loyalty program, which enables you to earn points that can be redeemed for considerable discounts. It's relatively new and definitely worth checking out! Your example is a good one as you are located in a shipping zone that is one of the furthest from us in California and pay shipping rates that are among the most expensive. Even when considering this, your communication of the value that you get from not having to ship with traditional stock box/bubble wrap materials is spot-on when considering total costs. Traditional materials simply do not provide additional value beyond the bare minimum of packaging a product. I’d also like to add that this is not necessarily a bad thing. The discovery of our products is a journey where most customers start at the stock box/bubble wrap level. We’ve found that more often than not, it’s important to start with these materials to gain experience around what it is you like and don’t like about how your packaging impacts your business. You highlighting that our products address packing efficiency and product breakage while maximizing a positive unboxing experience comes from you experiencing the pitfalls of traditional packaging. Outside of going through this experience as a new maker, it’s hard to put those pieces together. This is why we deeply value your thoughts on this. We hope that others who are just getting started with their business – whether it be candle making, jam making, etc… - read your review, try a sample box, and begin to visualize this experience for themselves.
